this week our company participate in the Compliance Manger Summit at San Francisco and held by IBSMA (International Business Software Managers Association).

the summit's materials and presentations were super interesting and included all latest updated in ITAM, SAM and Compliance areas.

it is a good place to update with the latest market changes WW and to learn how each enterprise customer experience the IT transformation differently while preparing themselves to the cloud era.

the materials present by objective and professional presenters mainly with regards to Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, VMware, IBM, Dell EMC.

the Founder and CEO of Peloton Consulting, Mr. Nir Sagi presented the session "Winning negotiation tactics for cloud and subscription licensing"  which is one of the most hot topic in the industry in those days.

the session provide important tactics and strategies to negotiate cloud and subscription agreements with all software vendors.

one of the important bullet was how Cloud Negotiation is very different from perpetual licensing negotiations with the spirit of "If you always do what you always did, you will always get LESS THAN what you always got"

the importance of transforming the negotiating is critical for the IT, Procurement and the Enterprise future success.

Microsoft EA renewal customers and Oracle OLSA customers were very interested in this session as they are now facing this transformation in the coming EA renewal with new Product Terms and Online Services Terms under SAAS , PAAS and IAAS services.

savings in software and online services was a very important point of interest for many enterprise customers. as those enterprises wants to become leaner and flexible, savings become a business strategy and not just monetary strategy.
